Vikens Kapell, Chapel
Beautifully located down by the shores of lake Kvarnbergsvattnet. Built in 1793 and thus the first church building in the area. The chapel was built by 14 farmers from the area when they sought a nice church to go to. They did not want to wait the time it took for the then state church to make a decision about the building. 1794 was the first opening of the church building and in 1799 the whole chapel was ready.
The architect Enar Persson from Jorm had no construction plan and built the chapel from his own vision. The chapel was constructed from 1793 to 1799 and is the oldest chapel in the area. In summer there is the possibility of guided tours and coffee in the church cottage.

Sjoutnäsets kapell, Chapel
Simple and very nice! This beautiful wooden chapel with 225 seats was opened in 1919 and sits right by the shores of Lake Storsjouden, along the road from Lidsjöberg to Häbärgsdalen. The church has no heating, and therefore the "Sjoutnäsmässan" mass was celebrated only during summer. Sometimes the church is used other times of the year and is especially popular for weddings.
